A British airline headquartered in London, EasyJet Airlines is the United Kingdom’s biggest airline formed as a subsidiary of EasyJet plc. The airline was founded in 1995 and it presently caters to over 129 destinations worldwide, both domestic and international. With over 8,000 employees working with the airline, it is the largest airline when taken into account the number of passengers carried.

Since its establishment, the airline has been on a continuous growth because of the various assets to its credit. It has become the people’s favorite airline due to the low-cost fare that it offers to the passengers. The airline operates over 200 airlines, which include its subsidiaries too. It is recognized as the second largest carrier that provides low-cost travel to passengers. The tickets booked by the passengers earlier were only through telephonic calls to call centers or travel agents. The online booking system was introduced in 2001 and the system offered cheaper tickets than those booked through the agents or call centers.

Once this was introduced, 50% of the bookings were done online and by the 2004, the number of online bookings shot up to 98%. Currently, online bookings are only encouraged and telephonic bookings are available only three months before the scheduled flights. EasyJet offers cheap flights to many destinations in different countries. Customers are facilitated to check the flight availability and compare fares before booking their tickets

EasyJet Airlines provides only Economy class travel and snacks and beverages can be bought on board the flight. The airline provides value-for-money travel and that is the reason for the airline’s success.
